Itonya Phase I

Itonya has a very productive spring that a University of Minnesota team designed a system to serve 1200 people in the village. The villagers dug trenches for more than 3.5 kilometers of pipe to deliver water from the spring to distribution points. A spring box and a settling tank were constructed from concrete and rebar to deliver clean water to the village.
