Kising’a Village
St Paul Partners worked with the village of Kising’a to develop a spring source to feed a 10,000 liter sim tank at the edge of the village. Village members worked to lay about 2 kilometers of pipe from the source. The tank feeds 5 taps and is used daily by villagers and the primary school nearby. Gravity fed spring water sources like this can deliver large volumes of pure water when conditions are right.
The project was designed by a University of Minnesota Engineering team and here is a link to their detailed site evaluation
